Coach Steve Wooley

Friday, March 12 marks the end of a legacy with Coach Wooley hanging up his whistle and saying goodbye to Piasa Birds basketball, as he's beginning a new journey as a retiree. He concluded his season with a 12-1 record and another South Central Conference title under his belt which adds to an already large number of accolades he's earned over the course of a long coaching career.  He's a high-expectation coach who gets the most out of those he coaches, which makes him pretty incredible. What makes him awesome is the fact that he recruits and coaches ALL kids, seeing their potential and ensuring they reach it! Here's to Coach Wooley - and AWESOME, AWESOME coach! 💚💛
